About RC43
RC43 is one of the research committees of the International Sociological Association. Its objectives are:

To create an international community among scholars in the field of housing and the built environment;

to promote the development of social science theory and research on housing and the built environment;

to contribute to informed decisions regarding intervention in and invention of housing and the built environments supportive of human needs.
Members of RC43 come from around the world, and conduct research on varied topics relating to housing and the built environment.

The International Sociological Association represents sociologists around the world. Through conferences, research committees and publications, members contribute to and share research on a wide variety of topics.
